Michael Trush

Coach Trush in his third year of involvement with the Lightning organization. He is a Level 1 certified coach who has also coached boys teams in Winnipeg for 4 years before moving to Waterloo in 2005.

Coach Trush played high school basketball at Kelvin High School in Winnipeg where he was a two-time all-star and finished his playing career with the University of Winnipeg Wesmen.

In addition to coaching basketball, Coach Trush is also a NCCP Level 1 Baseball coach and has coached rep teams in Waterloo for the past three seasons.

Coach Trush is dedicated to developing a team full of basketball players who are passionate about the game, excited to compete as hard as they can and have fun both on and off the court.
