Ontario Cup Tournament, Mar 26-28 2010

The Major Atom Girls Lightning #1 Team came into the OBA ranked 12th in the province and were placed into division Division 2 (4th seed). During the weekend the girls came focused and prepared to make a run at the Championship Gold Medal. Through their Gold Medal Run they played outstanding team defence and won all five games:

I know that we were hoping for a different result this weekend but all-in-all, you ladies won 2 out of 3 games. Keep up the good work! Parents – you did a fabulous job running and time keeping this tournament….BIG THANKS TO YOU!!

Niagara Falls Tournament, Jan 15-17 2010

You girls did more then bring home the gold (or RED SHIRTS)! This was a great weekend for playing great basketball and for building lasting friendships! Your Coaches & Parents are proud of you! Congratulations Ladies for winning all your games!
