Coach Hamm has been involved with KW Lightning for the past 6 years. His experiences in coaching includes YBL house league, and as assistant and head coach for the last several years.
As well as being involved in basketball, Coach Hamm is also a certified soccer coach (Sr. Level) and has been in position as either head or assistant coach for numerous teams.
Coach Hamm’s goals are to develop his player’s skills and more importantly increase confidence and positive attitude in young kids.
Ashley Neveu
Assistant Coach Ashley Neveu is a certified basketball coach at NCCP I. She also has NCCP II technical and theory and working towards finishing her Level II practical.
Ashley has been a part of Basketball Ontario for 7 years as a player and 3 years as a coach. She has been part of a few organizations although it is her first as a coach with KW Lightning.
Ashley has experience in coaching kids from ages 10 to 19. Her experiences in coaching includes house league, grade school and high school teams, as assistant, and trainer for a number of years.
Ashley is currently in her 4th year at the University of Waterloo pursuing a joint Honours Psychology and Biology and a certificate in French.
She is really excited to be coaching for KW Lightning this year with so many great young girls! Her main focus is to skills development, education and love for the game. She would tell you that nothing is better than seeing girls light up from within. The game has changed her life and she wants to be able to provide that for others.
